
Branch Manager
Work Location: Moosomin SK
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, your duties will include:
Managing, leading and inspiring a team of permanent and season staff
Oversee facility and equipment operations and to ensure safe operations, and work practices are in place and implemented
Working closely with key suppliers and Sharpe’s Sales Directors for product knowledge, opportunities and inventory management
Provide excellent customer service by coordinating staff availability hours of operation and delivery services
In alignment with the Sharpe’s core valves, maintain and expand the customer base within the location trading area
Manage the branch budget and allocate funds appropriately
Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the branch that align with the overall corporate plan
Ensure targets are met by motivating, organizing and encouraging the team
Communicate regularly with reporting staff to determine needs and satisfaction as well as conducting annual performance reviews
Communicate regularly with other departments, staff groups and customers
Prepare and maintain required branch sales reports
Provide recommendations for fertilizer and chemical products, assist in sales and conduct field scouting as required
Engage in continued learning of agronomic knowledge, business development and industry changes
Required Profile
An agriculture degree or relevant experience
You possess leadership and supervisory experience
You have thorough knowledge of the crop production industry
You possess strong organizational skills and are capable of multi-tasking
You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
You are capable of working as part of a matrix organizational structure
